When you see the current Siyanqoba crèche this quote comes to mind. Although Mama Mbuyazi does have help from other mama’s from the community, the children definitely don’t attend the crèche because of the amazing building or wonderful resources. Mama Mbuyazi has a passion for teaching and a love of children that runs deep, and with these two things she is able to inspire the children of Siyanqoba crèche to go on and be ready for primary school.
That’s why it’s so exciting for The Happy Africa Foundation and African Impact to be able to build a new crèche for Mama Mbuyazi and all of the children that attend Siyanqoba crèche. The 16th July marked the ground breaking and to see the huge smile beaming from Mama Mbuyazi was absolutely amazing. Volunteers worked hard, with the guidance of a builder, to do the foundations and start the first few layers of blocks, but one person who is always there to lend a hand is Mama Mbuyazi.
