Herbert Mweemba first joined the Sponsor a Child program in 2013 after being deemed by his school to require financial assistance to continue his studies. With the help of his sponsor, Herbert is now embarking on a career in teaching at the Mosi-o-Tunya College of Education.
Struggling to financially support himself with education fees and resources, further studies didn’t seem viable for Herbert. Now at the age of 22 the future looks bright for him after two years in our Sponsor a Child Program.
“I strongly appreciate the Happy Africa Foundation and African Impact for the support with my education. Without the aid of this organisation I would not have the opportunity to attend college,” said Herbert.
The Happy Africa Foundation’s Sponsor a Child program currently has 78 students whose school fees are being paid by donors from all over the world. Students also receive school supplies to ensure they are well-prepared to excel whether in a primary or post-secondary school classroom.
“I strongly recommend the organisation for the work they are doing to help children in need of resources and support for their education,” said Herbert.
