Help Zambia’s Healthcare System

By January 27, 2014October 10th, 2023One Comment

In Zambia, there are more than 10,000 people for every doctor in the country, and life expectancy sits at 55 years of age. A mixture of the pressure of the HIV epidemic, poor political practices and poverty, as well as other factors, has led to a chronic gap in healthcare services for the country’s people.

The Happy Africa Foundation, along with our partners at African Impact in Livingstone, Zambia, have been working towards refurbishing the clinic located in the community of Linda so that it may become a district hospital. Transforming the Linda Clinic would enhance the delivery of healthcare not only for this small community in Livingstone, but also relieve the burden on neighbouring clinics.

The Happy Africa Foundation and African Impact present a video about the expansion of a community clinic into a district hospital in Linda Community, Livingstone, Zambia.
We are in need of your support to expand the clinic into a district hospital and therefore be able to provide sufficient health care for one of Livingstones biggest communities.
