On Thursday 19th June staff members from Linda Community School and African Impact attended Happy Readers training. Happy Readers is a new reading scheme that was developed in Zimbabwe to help improve functional literacy levels of children. The programme has been specially designed for African children who have English as a second language.
We are excited to support Linda Community School with a donation of the first level of books through our Community Development Fund. They are introducing the first phase of Happy Readers with their Grade 3 pupils.
